Description
Turkish spindle with wings made of zebrawood (from an old schools teaching in craft, now abandoned) and the shaft of birch to ensure form stability. This spindle comes with a smoth top and the yarn is ancored to the shaft using one or two half hitches. A spindle wich with its ingenious design can be used both as a bottom whorl spindle hanging freely, but also as a supported spindle. This spindles weighs from 18 grams (0.64 oz) and is well suited for fine fibers.
