Turkish spindles

Hand made spindle with hand-turned shaft.The Turkish spindle is a bottom weighted spindle. Like most other low whorl spindles it may also be used as supported spindle. It has our own square attachement to hold the wings in position ( Maxi and green Miniturk, turkish spindles in hardwood has round attachement) is divisible and you wind the yarn to form a ball of thread which can be plied with one thread from the outside and one from within.

Our spindles are changing and improving constantly to give you the best spinning experience. Since we made the first Turkish spindle 2006, the spindle has changed and improved. We work continuelly to improve and develop our spindles to acheive a maximum spin experience.

Nevertheless, there is our expression from the beginning, and the spindles can be identified as our production, even without our logotype, which is now in any form on all products of our manufacturing.With our Turkish spindles you can spin most types of fibers at any thickness, but the experience can be refined by choosing spindle from fiber length and thickness of the fiber.
