Turkish spindle. Easy to disamble and put away when not in use. For fluffy yarn from thin to medium thick. Spins a long time. Weight about 35 grams.
We call this spindle Maxi because it is the largest of our Turkish spindles. This spindle is the origin to all Turkish spindles made by us. It is also this spindle that is the source to our other Turkish spindles, and has been with us the longest, although it has evolved since we did the first prototype. The spindles construction makes it spin for a long time and the wings’ ability, despite the low weight of the spindle, is suitable for spinning both thin and thicker yarns. Long spin time makes the spindle extra suitable also for beginners who can feed the wool without the spindle stall.
