Rigid Heddle

Hand-carved rigid heddles in different types of wood. The wood has grown on our farm and undergone all processes from felling via drying, selection of a suitable part of the tree, splitting and adaptation to planned objects. A handmade rigid heddle takes an average of twenty minutes per notch to make. To this will make holes for the threads and fine tuning.

Each rigid heddle is made using the eye and hand and provided with wood type and signature.
